Nazgûl

A little old, but definitely worth blogging in any case!

The Nazgûl were they, the Ringwraiths, the Úlairi, the Enemy’s most terrible servants; darkness went with them, and they cried with the voices of death. Their steeds were winged creatures: if birds, then greater than all other birds, and were naked, and neither quill nor feather did they bear, and their vast pinions were as webs of hide between horned fingers; and they stank. Creature of an older world maybe. Vultures upon the weak….–“Silmarillion”/”Return of the King”
